Tiong-Thye Goh博士，惠灵顿维多利亚大学副教授。主要研究领域为人工智能应用、情感计算、学习科学以及用户行为分析等。在《Journal of Business Research》《Journal of Educational Computing Research》《Computer Assisted Language Learning》等期刊发表论文80余篇。担任《Journal of Educational Technology & Society (JETS)》期刊的顾问委员，担任《Mobile and Blended Learning (IJMBL)》《International Journal of Mobile Human Interaction (IJMHI)》《International Journal of E-adoption (IJEA)》《Journal of Information Technology Education(JITE)》等期刊的国际编委会委员。
活动简介：
The seminar presents the use of ChatGPT as a tool for theory prototyping. The objective of the studies is to assess ChatGPT's ability to comprehend theoretical concepts and differentiate between constructs. Two studies exhibit reasonable discriminant validity despite high correlations among the TAM constructs. The experiments reveal potential biases in the generated samples, particularly regarding gender and usage experiences. These biases may impact the responses of constructs and should be considered when interpreting ChatGPT's conceptual capabilities. In sum, ChatGPT shows promise as a tool for theory prototyping, generating relevant responses aligned with theoretical constructs. However, further investigation is needed to address limitations such as duplicated responses, variations in prompts, and the generalizability of findings to different contexts.
